GED Partner Marc Eisenhart hosted a CLE about the ethical obligations attorneys have when dealing with anti-SLAPP. (Code Civ. Proc., § 425.16.) He summarized that attorneys must have someone reviewing complaints or petitions for anti-SLAPP issues before filing.  Otherwise, attorneys may violate their ethical duties of communication and competence.
